Early LT1 high stall shift problems

I have been searching for a good answer and cannot seem to find them. I am hoping someone in this thread can try and give me a concrete answer...OK, here I go.

I have a 95 turbo Z that had a VIG 3000 in it. I was having some issues shifting from 2nd to 3rd, and 3rd to 4th at WOT. I ended up blowing my tranny and bought a new beefed up 4L60E and a custom Edge 3400. I know with a high powered 355 my 3000 was probably stalling higher then 3000. I have heard that some 94's and 95's had problems with large stalls and not shifting at WOT. Is there anywhere I can find more info on this? Is there a fix for this? I don't know if my 3400 will work, and if not, will I have to switch to a lower (2400-2800) stall to make my car shift at WOT?

I would love to find out how to fix this problem, and learn more about it...Thanks

You need to do a "search".... this problem has been discussed extensively on the "LT1 Engine Tech" forum and on the "Computer....." forum.

I am almost certain someone post a cure for this in the computer section of the forum.

Some tuners can fix this in the software.
