Dyno Tune or LT1 Edit?

Which one is better? Well, let me rephrase. Which one will get the most horsepower? I know there is an advantage to having an edit program at your hands so you can make changes on your own quickly like gears or whatever without having to pay every time you mod. But what about a Dyno tune? Wouldn't that get it right on the first time?

well, you have to have LT1_edit to make use of a dyno tune. otherwise you will go the the dyno and put down a number and not have the ability to change your PCM. So basically you NEED LT1edit to go to the DYNO.

What I ment was have someone like MTI tune while on the Dyno as opposed to Tuning yourself with LT1 Edit.

you definatly want to have it dyno tuned. this way you know you have a safe A/F ratio at WOT. ITs next to impossible to " street tune" you car. Trust me.

LT1 Edit is the only editor to let you reprogram an obd2 pcm. If Ed Wright programmed your pcm recently it may also be locked. If you have the time and are willing to learn, i would say get lt1 edit and take it to dyno shop and do it yourself. To me, it is much more gratifying that way.
