diablo tuner

Well ive been reading up and some like it and some dont, im looking for something that i can tune myself mainly because im adding aftermarket parts one at a time, by the way this would be for a 01 Z28 6speed. I know ive heard you can adjust timing with the diablo but how much timing do you guys advance with 91 octane. I heard its one degree but not sure and some of the people ive spoken to say its well worth the money. Has anyone used the Diablo tuner and what are your experiences with it, thanks in advance for the help.
