Diable Predator Tuning vs Custome Tuning at a Dyno shop

I am close to purchasing a Predator Tuner for my 02' Z. I am a little concerned that the price for a Custome Tuner ($400+) is not cost effective for my needs. I plan on bolting on more mods in the up coming year.

Does a Predator tuner provide you with the same custome tuning that you can get at a dyno shop? A dyno shop can custome tune a car for around $250 in my area, but I am certain I will have to get my car tuned more than once. Which option will be more beneficial in the long run?

Predator is nice for gear changes, wheel changes, and automatics because you can change shift firmness. Its also a handy little scan tool. But thats about it, you wont see anywhere near close the same benefit that you would get from a dyno tune with LS1Edit.

spend the extra money and just get a tune. the guy here charges about 125 for programming like the predator, and another guy charges about 150 for simple dyno, then there this guy who really nows what hes doing that charges 400-700 for dyno tune. So unless ur constantly chaning gear ratios, shift firmness, wheel changes, I wouldn't waste the money on the programmer. Save the money and get just get a real tune, as said its a world of diff. Talking like a 10-20hp gain with mods from tuning. I'd say thats worth it.
