Mind passing on the link? I'll probably pick up some Racetronix 42's soon...might as well start doing my homework.

It changes the injector OPEN times vs voltage as you go thru the RPMs , you should notice your AF ratio curve is flatter on the dyno with the correct offsets.

Anything you described above would have nothing to do with the injector changes...unless you picked up alot of power at shift point RPM which is unlikely.

Anyone know of the offsets for the 37# Lucas injectors? It would help me out alot.

i would think the offsets would be nearly the same for the 37#'s as well since they both have the same ohms resistance

Those Lucas 42# (Ellis) numbers are definately all wrong.

And what evidence do you have to back this up ?

It was more of a question type statement, they just look different then others, why would a company make a set of injectors who's voltage is so far off factory? No eveidence, just that it seems unrealistic for one company to make such a dranstic change for no reason, not saying it wouldn't work, makes no difference, but wouldn't aftermarket companies base their product on a standard? beats me.

Well I understand what you are saying. But check into the Ohms resistance amount of the Lucas/Delphi's vs Accel or stock injectors. Also Check into the actuator speed of the disc type Lucas/Delphi vs Accel or stock injectors. You will notice they are quite a bit faster then any other type of injector. This would explain the offset difference. Now that chart isnt set in stone, each application is unique. Altho I run those exact offsets for my 42 lb Lucas injectors and I have great results.

Re: delphi/lucas inj offset vs volts (where can i get it)

The offsets reflect how the injectors respond to changes in voltage. It isn't just a matter of the resistance of the winding. Its dependent on the specific design of the injector, including the mass of material that the coil has to move. The advantage of the Lucas disc is supposed to be that its low mass makes it very fast.

I've tried to get a hold of Holley but had no luck .

Any help would be great Clary
