I'm pretty slow when it comes to new programs. Could somebody show me or direct me to how to learn them. I'm having trouble getting connected.

 

Start with the readme files provided, that will help give you a better understanding of things, instead of people just giving you the answers.

With Freescan, use FORCE DATA option, don't forget the drop down selection for your correct vehicle (not a Lotus I assume).

COM1 is default on most serial port setups.
