Does anyone know the trick to getting the older DM 3.4 to work with my new windows 7?

 

install as administrator, with win xp compatibility mode if necessary

 

tried that. still comes up this error message.

"the version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you are running. Check your computers system information to see whether you need an x86(32-bit) or x64(64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."
