I have been able to get FreeScan to work on my laptop. However, im unsure how to initialize datamaster. It doesnt seem to have any button that begins data streaming. Regardless, it doesnt recognize my connection. Any ideas?

 

Are you going to File->Record, then Setup on the small window and select Com port? You then have to select a file name before hitting the start button.

I got freescan to work after days of frustrating datamaster, I have come to the conclusion that it does not work right on windows xp if that is what you are using... Many others I have talked to cant get it to work on xp either...

 

my laptop is too slow to run xp so im using 2000
