datalogging for obd2
There are a lot of OBD-II software packages. I have AutoTap and like the way it works.

Thank you for the post!
I was just getting ready to post the same message. These folks know a great deal about tuning!!
I'm not trying to hijack your thread, but how easy is the Jet system to use? Why did you choose it over the LT1Edit? I found the Jet system for $499. Is that the right price?
After looking at these links, the 3rd option looks best to me, but I'll wait for others who have used these to post.

Inguneer, after looking these over, I changed my mind and like the AutoTap. Like Red94chicken, I plan on doing some tuning with Jet. Would it be better to purchase the generic or enhanced scanning AutoTap software? It does not look like the generic has A/F.

ScanXL ElmScan
I just went through the same thing with my 96 Z28 Camaro, was not able to find any program that would work to get the VE table readings, then I got Scanxl ElmScan from http://www.palmerperformance.com/ and it's not very high in price $129.95 plus shipping, Autotrap was way up there in price and I don't think it give you VE table readings or data logged, also I found a local speed shop here in town that was able to get Tunercat for my car $400.00, saved me over a hundred. Now all I got to do is learn to tune this car, and that's going to take a while.
If you are buying AutoTap, the "enhanced parameters" will provide you with a lot more operating data, like misfires by individual cylinder. I think its worth the extra cost.
I am not aware of any way for AutoTap to connect to anything other than the ALDL connector. To log a wideband, you would have to connect the wideband sensor output to one of the PCM's 0-5V inputs. I believe some people use the A/C pressure connector. Check around.
