Cooling fans Cycling with Wideband Connected

I noticed when I hooked up my wideband controller to the AC pressure port that my cooling fans are cycling up and down constantly. How do I stop this other than disconnecting it again? I assume there is something that needs to be tuned out but not sure.

Your ECM thinks the wideband output is A/C pressure and runs the fans accordingly. You could change the A/C pressure tables for the cooling fans to a very high value so the fans only respond to coolant temp but you would want to change them back when using the A/C. This is assuming that you have A/C.

My car does the same thing. I just log the wideband and ignore the fan.

That's what I was thinking but wanted a second opinion. I will mess with the tables and try to get rid of it since I don't have AC anymore. Thanks.

I tried to set AC pressure all the way up and now they just stay on high all the time unless I disconnect it.
