Coolant level low??

Arrow Coolant level low??

My coolant level low light is on but my coolant is full. The light comes on about 5 minutes after i start driving but is off when i just start it up. Some one told me it may the sensor but... how do i check it?

That's a common problem. The sensor mounts on the radiator by the battery. You can take it out and clean it and see if that works, or do what a lot of people have done: disconnect it.

My '93 Formula low coolant light has flickered now and then since I got it (40kmi ago). I changed the sensor ($34) and it does exactly the same thing.

I think that air bubbles going past the sensor makes it act that way. Ignore (best solution) or disconnect. Good luck.

How hard is it to disconnect and where exactly is it located??

Take the battery out, and you'll see it sticking out of the radiator.
