can the 2000 Z28 tell a tech when the car was last started and how long it was started??????

 

When and how long probably not, what's transpired between the last few starts...maybe, especially if history codes are present. Is there another question here?

 

well my cars were flooded friday night so i have reported it to my insureance company i was told i had to prevent further damage to the cars so i started the car thinking i needed to move them from there location to prevent another flooding of the engine but then i thought after i started the car that itself would cause damage so i quickly turned the car back off any advice to prevent my insurance company from destroying me!!!

 

Sounds to me like you were trying to do the right thing/what they told you. If it wouldn't start they shouldn't hold it against you. Code(s) will probably be the same anyway if they scan them. Sorry to hear you got flooded, especially both cars...hope it all works out.
