I just did a new cam and heads. The car raps a lot faster and I need to know if that would have an affect on the way the transmission shifts. I just had the transmission redone before I spun a rod bearing and it shifted fine. I had a few track runs and everything. Now, I got my car back together and it is on a hotcam tune, and it wants to bounce of the rev limiter then shift from 1st to 2nd, and it doesn't want to shift at all from 2nd to 3rd. These are just at WOT. I had this problem before and the tranny needed rebuilt, but that shouldn't be the case this time. Will my dyno tune take care of this?
