Cold misfire/hot and cold performance?

First my car is like day and night with the weather if its say below 60* it runs awsome, if its like above that 70 or 80 it feels like I lost 50hp. Now I know cars make more power in cooler more dense air but this seems extreme. What do you think?

Second in cold weather about 30* +/- when I first start it the SES light flashes and it runs like $hit until its warm (can actually feel it misfiring). Is this possibly related to tuning. My mods aren't that

Have the codes pulled.

The tune might be a touch too lean or have a bit to much timing which would explain its temper.

Re: Cold misfire/hot and cold performance?

I have Autotap and the only code is a Multiple random ctlinder misfire in history. Does not set the SES, but when its cold (below 40ish) it will flash the SES showing misfire unless I idle it up a little for a minute then it wont flash at all..

What kinda timing shud I look for? I have some stock timing tables but as far as my current tune no sure. I have the program I can email you but I can't veiw it to see whats in there.

Re: Cold misfire/hot and cold performance?

Today I logged a normal start up w/Autotap. In the morning I'll log it again and compare them. map, iat, timing, maf, coolant temp as well as a couple others. If it don't make much since i'll post it and maybe you can help me.

On another note I'm thinking I have a vaccum leak thats causing it. Dunno, but I'm still exploring that now. Thanks and I'll post some results tomorrow
