I have a 2002 camaro Z28 and I have a code of P1416. Has anyone ever had this problem and what was done to correct this and remove the code?

 

GM code list for 2002 LSx series engines indicates:

P1416 = AIR Injection System - Bank 2

Indicates that when the PCM turns on the AIR pump during closed loop operation, and looks at the O2 sensor to see if it goes lean, confirming the presence of the excess air introduced by the pump, and does not see a lean condition. There is no air flow from the pump to the exhaust. This code only sets if Bank 2 (passenger side) fails and Bank 1 (driver's side) passes, indicating it is not a pump problem.

Could be a failed hose or check valve leading to the connection on the passenger side exhaust manifold.
