I just purchased a new computer for my '98 Z28 LS 1 which was programmed by the company who sold it. I have a P1336 code which is the Crankshaft position sensor learn. My question to all of you is, does the computer learn this feature or do I still need further Flash programming for it? I have exactly 80 miles on it since I installed the new computer and the P1336 code is still pending. The SES light remains on constantly and the only code is a 1336 PENDING code for the Crankshaft sensor. I have tried to erase the code with my Actron autoscanner but it does not clear it.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

When the PCM is new or from another vehicle the relearn with a scan tool is needed according to the link below. A dealership can do it for you.
