"Closed Loop Idle Vehicle Enable Speed"
"Closed Loop Idle Vehicle Enable Speed"
This is a constant in tunercat that I cannot get a grasp on. What does it do. Right now mine is set on 0.9 mph. Its located 2nd to last on my list. Might there be some way to set this so the idle is always in open loop?? Im gonna give it a shot tomorrow to see what happens.
Re: "Closed Loop Idle Vehicle Enable Speed"
we all know that when you sit still you use ti open loop cells 16 17 18, but when you touch the throtle you start using closed loop cells, also if you start moving you use then closed loop cells as well.
heres a long thread about it

if you figure it out let me know as well

Re: "Closed Loop Idle Vehicle Enable Speed"
I would guess it means you have to at least move the car once for it to kick into closed loop, but thats just my shot in the dark with a blindfold guess.
Re: "Closed Loop Idle Vehicle Enable Speed"
No that means that if you move the car, it will speed up the process to go into closed loop, if you leave the car ideling when you start it warm it will take around 3 mins to get into closed loop, if you move 0.9 mph it will decrease the wait time, prolly by 1 min or so, you have to time it, once it is enabled it does not turn off, so it doesn't mean that if you go below .9mph it will turn off, just that if you go above that speed it will speed up the process to go into closed loop.
