Checking codes on 97 camaro with obd1 pcm

Checking codes on 97 camaro with obd1 pcm
I put a 94 lt1 motor and pcm in a 97 car and need to check the codes. Will autozone or somebody be able to check them or how should I go about this. Thanks a lot.

most autozones do not have the capability to check OBD1 anymore. The alternative is going to a shop that can.
If you already have a laptop computer you could go with an ALDL cable and laptop route. There is a program called freescan that will get you started. Google AKM cable.
