I've used up my 20 free trials and would like to purchase the software but the $120 price tag seems a bit high. I know AKM sells it alil cheaper at $95 but was wondering if anyone else knew of a place I could purchase it. thanks

Yea i realize that, but I'm a graduate student with alot of bills to pay...

 

AKM is the lowest legal license I have seen. You may be able to find some selling a license in the used market. We're talking about a 14 year old product, not a heck of a market for them it out there. And due to low cost and PITA license transfers people hold on to them. As stated in post #2, and IMO if you are modifying a car it's probably the lowest cost thing you have to buy. Could be worse, you could have an OBD2...

 

Doesn't to me once I take into account the poor customer service and charging for updates...
