Changing Idle in CATS

I am having trouble at idle with it poping and surging. Not able to find a solid idle. It goes from 800/1000 to 450/550 if it does not cut off. If anyone can help w/ that it would be awsome. It does well at part and 3/4 when I was on the dyno. Good A/F and so on but idle is crap. Thanks for the help! Buck

Have you changed the throttle body or the throttle body stop screw's position on this vehicle?

Tried increasing closed throttle TPS advance for your idle RPM range?

No I have not. I have made some changes, Re-ported heads and Colder plugs w/ smaller gapping ( tr6 @ .040) and I am sure that would change the way it runs but I am not sure on how to fix it. Now that I think about it the car has always had a little bit of a stumble when you tap the gas from idle to about 2200 to 2400 in any gear, w/ the old tune and now. Thanks Buck

If you just did some changes the computer will take a little time to adjust itself.

Sounds almost like a dirty MAF, if you can either try switching to a SD tune or else try unplugging it and running it without the MAF (just a warning itl'l spit out a CEL and put you in limp home mode so the car will run a little rougher)

The way Paxton did their system, they put the MAF in the front finder so if I unplug it I might as well try cleaning it and put it back. I will try that and let you know. What scould I use to clean it? Buck

Oh yeah forgot you have forced induction, that was the whole reason i even asked if you had a maf rather than assuming. I hear theres a MAF cleaner spray at autozone thats supposed to work well though i've never personally used it.
