changing gear ratios, what to change in tune?

changing gear ratios, what to change in tune?

i am changing my gear ratio from 3.23 to 3.73, what will i have to change in my tune? I know my speedometer will be off, but somebody has mentioned tranny settings too?

ok, for the tranny settings, i figured out i'll have to change my shift points.

what do i have to do to correct the speedometer

tunercats, tunerpro or lt1edit?

alright, since i do not have tuning software right in front of me, is there a thing under there for gear ratio, or what? I mean, my tach will still be correct and i have a print off of what my MPH will be at all the RPMS for each gear, but i do want an accurate speedometer too.

Yeah, You punch in tire size and rear end gear ratio click compute and then apply

Youl'l probably need to punch in the tire size as well.
