I heard about a program that some guy made on a Pontiac forum (can't remember which) that lets you easily change the VINs on edit files ... so you can basically take one file for one car and change VIN and use it on the other (or atleast have a close tune). Anyone know about this and where I maybe able to get such a program?

 

You can use any file on your car. Once you upload it, it will take your VIN.

Nobody. There's nothing wrong with questions, you had no way of knowing it, especially since lt1_edit will not allow you to edit a foreign file until after you uploaded it and then read it.

 

I have tunercat, what about the PROM ID it has in the ECM Constants table, does it effect anything?
