cc306 tuning ? changed cam now it wont idle

I changed the cam in my car. Now it wont idle. The car is a 94 obd1. I have tuner cats and have tried a file from http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/LT1Edit/LT1files.htm but it still wont idle. The motor is stock other then cam, springs, headers.
If i go back to one of my files what all do I need to change to get it to idle? I know the idle speed but what else? Has anyone else opened the throttle blades by the adjusting screw or not? I need to get this running for the races saturday so thanks for the help.

Don't mess with the throttle blades unless you know exactly what you are doiing and how it affects other things. MHO.

Well I got it running it idles decent. I will have to get exhaust on it so I can start driving it again.

What did you do to fix the idle issue? What were the symptoms of the idle?

Well I added a bunch of timing down low and the big problem on why it wouldn't idle is I had a vacumn leak.

It was real rough and when I eased in to it to get it to stay running it would go from almost no rpm to about 3500.

Thanks, Do you have your timing tables available to look at. I am getting ready to bump my TPS closed idle to 29 degrees, from 25 degrees. Mine always takes a while before it will idle on its own, as I have to throttle it for a little bit.

You might have to raise the "Default Min IAC keep alive steps" in the constants table.

I didn't change those tables but if you go into the ECM constants down towards the bottom of the list is the Default Min IAC keep alive steps. It is just one number I raised mine up to about 40 or 45. It just helps it idle higher after the pcm gets reset.
