CC305 cam, RRs, Headers installed..... where do I start?

Hello folks,

I know this has been probably asked a million times but doing a search on this didnt really yield me any helpful results. I just wanted to get started the proper way now that everything is in and therefore has a few questions myself.

1st - I noticed with the new cam I have a little surging when in gears and was wondering if maybe I need to raise the idle a bit, however, someone else here on the board told me to just change this via TB??? I have LT1Edit so I wanna utilize this for everything. Can someone tell me where to bump up the idle (Field, parameters, etc..) thru LT1Edit?

2nd - I am running pretty rich (although I havent scanned the car for A/F yet) I can just tell due to the smell from the rear and thru the cabin but i'm also running w/o a catayctic convertor so I need to somehow lean this out a bit to compensate for smell. Is this even possible???

3rd - I'm not throwing out any codes (yet!) but my ABS INOP lights now is coming on when car is running but never did this before, so I'm wondering if this can be rid off within LT1Edit.

*** Sorry to bombard all the veteran folks in here with newbie questions like these but believe me I've looked around for anything related but couldnt come up with anything solid, plus I know other folks and lurkers here is probably wondering about these as well so let me be the one to ask all the questions

I'd appreciate all the info anyone can give me!!!

Thanks Alot!

I haven't played with LT1edit yet, but here is some info to get you started. http://carputing.tripod.com/AKM_lt1netfiles/LT1Edit.htm

2nd - I am running pretty rich (although I havent scanned the car for A/F yet) I can just tell due to the smell from the rear and thru the cabin but i'm also running w/o a catayctic convertor so I need to somehow lean this out a bit to compensate for smell.
Although it is quite possible to adjust the A/F ratio by programming, it is not good to do so by smell. One of the cons of having a gutted or removed cat is the smell. Since there is no cat to clean up unburned hydrocarbons, they come right out the exhaust pipe and into your nose.

If you tune your engine to "smell" good with no cats, you'll be running pretty lean, and that's NOT good for nitrous. The best thing to do is run a log while doing a dyno pull with wideband O2 sensor. You can then use that data for the basis of your tuning.
