Can't read the PCM

I recently got a new PCM from Ion and had Dave fix my LT1edit adapter. I now can't read the PCM. Doing the usual read before write routine, just ain't cutting it for me. AI get comm and sometimes VIN but OBDII programmer just loses the PCM and can't reconnect.

Any clues would be appreaciated.

Does the car run on the new PCM?

Re: Can't read the PCM

Yeah, it runs fine.

BLMS are off a wee bit so I was gonna check the offsets (though I just noticed a tear in the orange intake hose), change the p103 limit and change the fan temps to verify they are working alright.

On a side note Ion, when ordering the new hose from procharger they told me in a few weeks they will have a hard intake with the MAF relcated to the pressure side. Only took them, what about 6 years to tsee the light

Re: Can't read the PCM

Might want to talk to Dave about this. If the car is running fine, there is no problem with the PCM.

Also, FWIW, I use stock offsets with SVOs. They work better for me that way. It could be the tear causing it.

What are you using for datalogging? Autotap or Scanmaster? If Autotap, then that would also suggest a problem with the lt1_edit cable since the data stream works for Autotap fine.

As for the Procharger, sounds interesting! I'd like to see how the new elbow looks like.

Re: Can't read the PCM

I shot Dave an email earlier.

I had to use different offsets to way back when, b4 the tear. Stock stayed a little bit rich

Atap works. I thought maybe the cables to the interface could be causing the issue. I wonder if the Atap or HPP OBDII-> 9pin cable could be substituted. Never tried.
