can't get datamaster to work!!!

it keeps telling me i don't have a connection to the pcm or my com port isn't right. it only lets me pick com port 3. i moved the usb to all the ports and it kept saying the same thing. ??? i don't have any problems connecting to the pcm when using tunercat.

Some other progam has control over your com port 1. Could be a palm pilot, printer, Tunercat etc.

I'm not sure how to check it but the same thing happened to me when I tried to use my wideband commander software. My palm pilot docking station had use of com 1 exclusively. An IT guy helped me set it free.

Boy, it's been a while...but I remember having to check or uncheck something like "disable CCM handshake" or something like that.
I think I was told it forces the pcm to connect rather than waiting to connect. See if you can find that under one of the menus across the top.

with tunercat, it lets me choose between 3 com ports. datamaster is trying to make me use com port 3 and its not working.
