Can't connect with tunercats

I have the tunercats software and a cable I purchased from mastach.com. Its a 94 so it has the OBD1 style connector the cable has 4 wires. black ground obviously, then the pin below that I hook up the red which is the high speed one I guess, then a white one to the left of the ground...then my blue just hangs because there isn't a connector in that pin on my car. I can use datamaster fine and it scans...can't seem to get freescan to work and it fails the ADL test or whatever..and tunercats can't read my PCM =\ Please help.

I dont know about the wires because I have an OBD1 plug. But I had the same problem with my Widows ME computer. I messed with it for about a month and I could never use Tunercat. I tried a Windows NT computer and everything works fine. Email TC and see what he says, he is very helpful.

Tiger, you should connect two wires ONLY: red (data) and black (ground). Don't connect those other two wires, there are not for use in our cars.
So, try it and I'm sure it will work.

hmmm, well, I have 3 hooked up right now and it works, but I suppose I might as well unplug that other one, I got a new key made up but the light still stays on, ho well, I connected fine today anyway, thanks for the ideas

I'm looking at my install manual for my WOT cable right now, shows only 2 wires need connected Black to terminal "A" which, if your looking directly at the ALDL port is the upper right slot. Red wire to ALDL terminal "M" which is the lower right slot.

Should work fine like that. The other wire (White on mine) connects to terminal "B" but only on 1223165 ECM/L98 cars
