Seems like you have a bum slow 0'2 on you right side. Look closely with a slow speed setting and you will see that your right 0'2 is much slower to respond then your left.

Change it out to see what happens.

I changed the O2 out and it still drives funny. Part throttle. I also have a new DATALOG if you would take another look at it! If you notice RIGHT when it goes into closed loop it starts running bad. The O2's start to get way off. BLM's start goin wacky. What would cause this? Is there a particular sensor that closed loop could be reading for the changes? Could i have an exaust leak?
Any help would really be appricated!
Thanks
Shawn

I am not sure on a 93 but if you run the playback and click on view and then DTC codes. Alot of codes are in red. Like I said I am not sure on a 93. I have looked at mine as well 5 others and none of the DTC code numbers are red as yours are. But Like I said I am mostly doing 94 and 95 cars. Click on the red codes and it says your left 02 has failed as well as many other sensors.

If you export the files from DataMaster in ".csv" format, anyone with Excel can look at your files. By using the ".uni" format, you are limiting the files to people who own DataMaster.

I played with his data log, and I see no DTC errors, other than Engine Bit Data. Many are in Red, Injector 1 & 2 Fault, Inject Driver 1 and 2 fault at times also.

His coolant temp also jumps 30 degrees farenheit the moment in goes into closed loop.

I am still a student of this, so I do not really know if these faults mean much.

OK its not a dtc code its an engine bit data code! I see a few of these in red. Is this normal? Which one of my injectors is bad?

If you're not viewing the datalog with the DA version it won't read right.
There are no DTC's. Coolant temp doesn't jump 30* when it goes from open to closed loop from what I see.
That datalog is tough to gather any info from though. Most of the time you're out of the gas and the ECM goes into cell 18.
Get a good datalog of about 10-15 minutes of closed loop part throttle driving and some idling.
What do you mean the car drives funny? Runs rough? Hesitates?
I'll check out the bin file when you send it to me and see if there is anything funny in it.

Dan,

You are correct, it does not jump 30 degrees as goes into closed loop, but look at records #'s:

at #205 = 189.5 F Closed Loop
at #206 = 247.6 F Open Loop (Data Error) Invalid Info
at #207 = 189.5 F Closed Loop
at #208 = 221.9 F Closed Loop

From #209 and forward = Temp is higher than 220F, with a peak of 230F. So it does jump around 30 Degrees or higher within seconds....

Something is wrong here, either with his coolant temp sensor, harness, or faulty ECM...

What do you think?

The data error is when the cable slipped out of the laptop! Here is a new data log where that didn't happen!

I did not see that the first time. I must have been looking at datalog 1, and not the second that he posted. Good catch, my bad.

Shawn,
You've got mail.
