Can ABS light be deleted from PCM?

I'm looking into a s60 rear and don't want the 3-channel for the ABS. Since it will be unhooked, I'm assuming the PCM is going to throw a code or ABS light.

Can I buy a program like tunercat and delete the ABS function all together? Can I also change the gear ratio the PCM knows as well with it?

Thanks,
James

The ABS has it's own computer. You'll have to find something that will communicate with it. I don't know if it is programmable. You won't get a trouble code from the PCM, but probably an ABS INOP light.

So I'm guessing the fix is to remove the bulb for the ABS inside the dash??

Or cut the wire giong to it... you will probably get the red brake light too. Both are on in my car.
