Cable error? Wrong Vin error?

Cable error? Wrong Vin error?
I have edit. In the past I have used CATS to upload a tune. i have not done it for a while and now suddenly I get a "Cable error"
I am able to scan. I am able to dl my program with 'flashread'.
When I go to use pcmprog i get a VIN error message even though the VIN IS listed at the top of PCM Prog. When I DL my current tune, the VIN in LT! wdirt WAS the same as the one listed in pcmprog.
Anyone have any ideas? Basically I'm unable to upload.
