BLMs 160/160 at idle

Um, is this a bad thing?

BLMs aren't split too bad at any time, but they are always high.

Any ideas?

Seems to run fine.

what are they like off idle??

160/160 means your car is running very lean and the pcm is trying to compensate by MAXING OUT the fuel delivery. 108 and 160 are the boundaries where 128 is perfect or your target BLM. anything under 128 means the car is rich and the computer pulls out fuel.. anything over 128 means the car is lean and the computer adds fuel. your pcm is demanding as much fuel as it can... a very bad thing. unless the readings are false, you could be running the motor lean.

my guess is either a bad MAF sensor, or a massive vacuum leak!

What's your IAC sitting @? I've heard of this fixing the offset differences of BLMs at idle, but not sure if it could help you out seeing that your BLMs are matched....???

Is this ONLY @ idle?

I have the same problem, however I know its a false lean due to the RAW gas smell from the exhaust. I have a large solid roller cam so at idle it sits between 75-85 KPA. Which I think is throwing off the PCM. THE PCM is seeing high load on the engine and dumping fuel, but the MAF is seeing a small amount of air. The only way I fixed it was to stay in open loop and ignore the O2s.

I am experimenting with having the car in PE mode at idle so it ignores the O2s, then after 1600 RPMs it comes out of PE mode and closed loop is enabled. Still seems a litte too rich this way but I have more fuel i can subtract at an idle........I so want an accel DFI 7....This is becoming a pain. How am I supposed to get the engine to stop thikning its under high load and dumping a ton of fuel at an idle.?

They'll be like 135/137, 139/142 most other times. I'm thinking of changing the injector offsets from the factory setting to the correct offsets for my 24lb SVOs.
