Question Best Book For Learning What each Readout Means

I'm new to the LT1 and ECM Programing. It looks like I'm going to use Tuner Cat and Freescan to program and monitor my ECM.I've looked at the trial Tuner Cat and I need help understanding what each function does.Is there a book out there that helps explain? If so where can you get it?Can ya'll help?

Thanks,

BC

Thank You Very Much.I see this refers back to Scanmaster. Will Freescan do the same readings.I've already purchased a laptop & cable and will get my car back this week(long story)so I'm ready to give it a shot.Let me know.
I feel like a kid at Christmas.

Yep, I still think its a great document to cover all the sensors and what they do, I dont even own a Scanmaster and never will. Freescan for me.

BTW we have a PCM, Powertrain Control Module, this is because it has the ability to control the transmission also, if you have a 93 then I suppose its an ECM or ECU, technically speaking.
