I have a Windows version of A-Tap, although it's relatively old.

I can read codes and monitor numerous parameters in my 2001 GMC HD and my '98 TA which is tuned.

However, I tried to check how my O2s were doing on my '96 CMC car and it gave me no parameters to select ... only the curent date and time.

It was connected and I could DL trouble codes (or thought I could) but there was nothing listed under tables, Add/New/All ...

I didn't immediately go and try it on one of my other vehicles, but I did diagnose a bad CPS on my HD 3 weeks ago with the exact same computer and A-Tap module/cables.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

 

reinstall the software. I have A tap on my palm and the battery went dead and It wouldn't work anymore until I reinstalled the software.

Have you tried restoring the default config and having A-tap rescan parameters?

I used a Painless wiring harness on the car because the stock harness weighed so freaking much.

Painless does not supply 12V to P16 ... no 12V, no communication ...
