Anyone here have Gen 6 DFI???
Anyone here have Gen 6 DFI???
I do. I have a few questions regarding tuning the setup.
I want to learn how to do this stuff by myself. Do I need a separate laptop just for this????
I don't have the software, Morgan Motorsports tuned the car for the previous owner. Where can I get it????
I need to re-tune the car because it has always ran rich at idle, it idles at almost 1000rpm and sometimes right when you let off the clutch (neutral) it stoops down to like 550-600rpm and almost acts like its going to die.
I just installed a Be Cool aluminum radiator. Now the car runs at 165-170 degrees. It's making the car run rich so now I get some backfiring here and there. It runs good as long as my foot is on the gas, but backfiring can be annoying. I would also like to know why both of my cooling fans are one ALL the time. I have heard you can program the temps for them to come on thru the computer.
I would like to know how the thing is running cause the check engine light no longer comes on if there is a problem. The only way to check is thru the DFI program.
I'm trying to get over 400rwhp and will be switching over to LT headers and a cutout. I've heard I may have to re-tune the motor to get the best gains with the LT's.
I NEED to chnage the point of my rev-limiter. It's set at the stock point. I make peak power at 6350rpm, and would like to shift between 6400 and 6500 but the car hits the rev limiter mid-shift, making for a lame-o shift.
Sorry for the long post guys, if anyone is near the San bernardino area of CA, let me know.
