Post Anyone else running Speed-Pro(FAST)?

I have a few questions on setting this up. I am running a 396 N/A motor with AFR heads and solid roller cam. I have no idea how to even begin setting up a base program. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thankz, Alan McCorkle

Well i am assuming that your car isn't running at this point then?..FAST is only sold through distributors, the reason for this is to make sure that the customer(you) can work with the distributors and get the car setup and running. Who did you buy the system from? you should be able to go back to them and work with them to help you!

I bought the system from an individual(never used). I have not installed it or the motor yet(lack of motivation). I would like to get the WP software to run the system with. There is a shop in Memphis that I bought a jumper harness from but I don't know if I can use it or not. I want to keep the stock dash gauges and run the 700-R4w/lock-up with the factory comp. Then again, I am no wiring guru and I also have to get the wideband O2 hooked up too. Thankz for the reply. Alan

I put a Speed Pro in a 96 lt1 auto the harness had to be molested severly to keep the factory pcm operating cluster, trans, etc.
not mutch fun! I hear they have some "Plug in harness" that ties the two computers together as both share critical sensors, power, etc.
If you have a limited electrical background I would strongly recomend looking for a better harness/adaptor.
