Question any program out so i can change the VIN in the PCM?

does anyone have a program or know where to get one to change the PCM VIN? i got my PCM done originally by ed wright and the VIN was incorrect and i didnt notice b/c it was one digit off and i reprogrammed my PCM with the TECH2 to redo everything from scratch well the VIN is off now instead of 2G1 like its supposed to be it 2G2 and now my Lt1 edit wont work let me know if you know of any thing to fix it
thanks Ryan

Im not too sure of any other options....but it sounds like you better hope the carputing guys will feel bad and help you out with this one. Maybe they can reset whatever needs reset so LT1 edit can recognize anther VIN #...good luck. If they reset it...let me know what lines you used in case this happens to me one day. Later

VIN edit / VIN chng only changes the VIN in a file, not on the PCM. You cannot change the PCM VIN yourself, too many criminals have done this in the past so it is not readily accessible. Talk to a dealership, or if your desperate there are other methods. Are you sure Ed even gave you the same PCM back? If it was only off one digit then I assume he did.
