I got a obd1 cable from aldlcable.com and it works well expect under two circumstances using tts datamaster. Idle causes the signal to be lost routinely and it doesn't record at RPMs over 5000, loses signal.

Are there any settings I can change to get it working better? I have the com port set at 19200,8,none,1,none.
