Up until now (past couple years) I've had no issues with this, but as of this weekend when I try to pull data via FreeScan, or DataMaster I keep loosing my connection with the PCM it happens maybe every couple seconds then it will be fine for 5-10 seconds, and repeat? What can cause this where should I look. I made sure my cables were all hooked up correctly grounds at what not (for the AKM) and the back off the PC was secure. When it happens I notice no difference in motor tones, ect.

Oh ya it's a '94 LT1 Swap, I just switched it back to a stock ignition (pulled the MSD Digital Programmable 7),
