Air Bag light after programming! Please help!

All my mods are in my sig, but I contacted a local guy (very nice guy) and he pulled my computer out to program it for my new axle gears. This guy used EFI Live the latest software that just came out. For some reason he could pull the programming off my pcm but he couldnt reprogram with different settings. So he pulled an old pcm out of his 98 camaro and programmed everything that mine had plus the changes I needed into his old 98 pcm. He said he cleared all the old setting from the pcm before he changed to my settings. Now, I am getting the AIr bag light on solid right after I installed his old pcm into my car. The car runs fine and the new gears settings worked, but the air bag light will not go off.. I have pulled the 3 ground wires from under the hood and cleaned all the contacts, but still no luck. Could there be some difference between the 1998 pcm and the 2001 or maybe the way the wiring is on my car???? He has several PCMs for these cars from corvettes and other camaros and I am wondering if there were some incompatablilites with any other models??? Thanks in advanced!!

I believe they changed the pcms between 98 and 01. The 98 isn't fully compatible.
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...&highlight=pcm contains some details about the differences.

There is absolutely no way a 01 F-body would start and run with a 98 F-body PCM. Not to mention that almost every input and outpin is in a different position on the connectors, they even look physically different.
