Actual line pressure vs. pcm values

I'm wondering how that all works. Basically, the trans shop hooked up a gauge to my test port and at wot I am getting 170 or so psi. I looked at my tune via tunercat and it shows under a constant that a)max line pressure is 125 and b) through my tranny values, I saw that the actual highest pressure point the car was programmed to was 90 + a few more psi from the various modifiers. What gives? The shop wants me to up the pressure a tad (I said that wasn't good idea but they insist and it's under warranty so what can I do) but I don't know how or how much to do that. If anyone has any idea let me know asap. I'm heading to the shop after work which is around 5pm. Thanks, Sean
