ABS woes

So I finally got a regular throttle cable installed on my car. I unplugged the ASR (traction control) motor and took the car out for a drive. The main focus was burping the air from the coolant after a long battle with leaking crossover fittings. Anyway, as of now I have the ASR, ABS, low oil, Security, and Airbag lights on. Its really pretty.

Is there way I can get the ASR tuned out? I have read that you cannot, but I have a very hard time believing that GM made two separate PCMs just for autos.

I don't DD the car so its not a pressing matter, but I would really like to get my ABS/airbags back to the functional state. NJ in the summer is scary.

No you can't tune it out. When i took my ASR off i had the same lights. ABS inop, low trac, ASR off. The plug that was hooked to the ASR box, just jump the two pins together to complete the loop and the lights should go off. Thats what i did on mine.

As for the Low oil light, either its low on oil, or the sensor come unplugged or is bad.

Not really sure why the Security light is on. . . .

LOL, the low oil light is on cause I broke the damn sensor when installing a new pan gasket... the security is on because I think the VATS or whatever died but the key was in so the computer is ok but gives me the light.

So I can just cut out the motor and splice the leads together?

I plugged in the ASR motor and after having the battery disconnected for a few hours, started it up. Nothing changed.
