96 OBD2 parameters - what will keep it from starting

I am building a 96 Trans AM road racing car.

The series I chose has very strict rules concerning horsepower, weight and modifications. It's like a cross between T2 and A/S.

I can have parameters by-passed or deleted in the computer, but anything that would enhance performance over stock is not allowed.

Let me repeat ... engine management has to remain factory stock.

Because mine is the first OBD2 car in the series, it's gonna get a very hard look and I don't want to spend countless hours dragging the car 100 miles to a dyno to prove everything is legit.

And I don't want any tips on how I can get around the system. There are all kinds of possibilities to do that, but I just don't want to go there. I want to race, not play games in the pits or between races.

If you have read to this point, here is my question ...

I am having VATS, emissions, EGR, anything associated with BCM all by-passed by Bryan.

In essence, I want to apply 12V to the computer and ignition with a single toggle switch and press a momentary switch to engage the starter.

What all parameters in a 96 OBD2 PCM can be by-passed in order to make the car run and have no SES light and amintain stock engine tuning?

I'm looking at bare minimums and extremely simple wiring. For a race car, simple is good ...
