Re: 94 LT1 computer woes
I had an OBDII connector on my 95, so I went to a local performance shop and bought an OBDI conversion kit. It consist of wire taps, and an OBDI plug. You just need a diagram to tap into the correct wires and you are in business. I think shbox has the diagram for both plugs on his website. Its really easy, like maybe 10 minutes, plus you can keep your factory plug.
It worked for my 95 anyways. BTW it was only 20 dollars.

Its very hard to understand what you are looking for.... but I think you might want this:

What car did you put the 94 LT1 in? That might explain why you have an OBD-II wiring harness in your car. Then is appears you have a 12-pin ALDL connector (the thing hooked under the dash by the driver's knee). And you want to hook up the OBD-II wiring harness to the 12-pin ALDL connector? What PCM are you using?
Or are you saying you have a 16-pin OBD-II ALDL connector under the dash, and a scanner cable with a 12-pin OBD-I connector?
Do you see why we're confused?
Not to be mean, but some punctuation might make it a bit easier to understand.

Re: 94 LT1 computer woes
oh sorry about that. I have a OBDI computer from what i have figured out. This was swapped into a thirdgen 91 camaro. 350lt1.com did the setup for me and graphed it. But they put an obdII connecter on it and i don't know if i can use that instead but what cable do i use to read the computer now.
Re: 94 LT1 computer woes
The data wire on the ALDL connector is the tan wire. That's the only thing that you need to connect directly to the scanner from the ALDL connector. You can pick up 12V power and a ground anywhere its available under the dash. Might be worth making up jumpers like Shoeox did to make the connections.
