are the 93z & 94z body harness the same

I put a 93 lt1 and m-6 into a 94z that was a auto. I used my 93 comp. and harness, and it started up, but my gauges dont seem to work. It also idles high. I was wondering if the body harness was the same, and if not what can i do to make the gauges work. I was going to put the 93 body harness into the 94 body ( I still have the 93 car for parts ) but it seems like a nighmare, because there is so many wires. Then i was going to buy a 94 comp. & harness, but that would cost a fortune, because i would have to also buy (T.b, mass air, heated o2s, ect. ) Can anyone help me?
The motor & trans came out of a runing car .

Unfortunately, they're not compatible. I've tried it with a 94 harness in a 93 body and I couldn't even start it. Didn't have time to rewire the whole thing either...

Even if it would work you would still have to swap to a 93 gauge cluster (or at least swap its board) since the tach has a different signal on the 93.

I'd recommend a 94 engine harness conversion....

Ok, say i did the 94 conversion, would i buy a auto or m-6 comp. & harness. How would i hook it to the tranny, because i heard the 93 & 94 m-6s had diff wire hook-ups. Also i worried about the injectors, can i use the 93s, i heard the fire totaly diff.
Thanks madwolf, I had my starter hooked up wrong, so after i figured it out i was shooked it fired up, because i know you did almost the same conv. as me.

There's really not much to hook up on a 6 speed... You've got the reverse lockout solenoid, skip shift (which you don't need and don't have on the 93 tranny) and VSS which is the same. I beleive the reverse light also connects tot he tranny, but I'm not sure. Either way, it won't be hard at all to modify.

So get a 6 speed PCM and 6 speed harness.

Injectors are fully compatible, so you can use them with the 94+ harness and 94+ comp.
If you want to run speed density with the 94 comp, it can be programmed to do so.

You don't need an entire 94+ throttle body. You can just get the bottom plate with the IAC valve as it swaps over. NOMAD on this board would probably have one.
