ok I just swaped a 6 speed into my auto car.. now the speedo is WAY off.. its reading 160MPH about half way through first gear.. I was told that if I do a gear swap I would need to buy this part from SLP to recalibrate my speedo. would that be the case here. i got the vss plugin from a 93 car also so I know its hooked up right becuase the wires are the same colors on both connectors.. any help with this would be great..

 

you either need a calibrator box for the speedo or a pcm reprogram.
