8* knock retard at 4200 RPM
Hey, I have recently gotten started tuning my LT1 and could use some help with this knock retard I'm getting. It starts around 4000 RPM and spikes as high as 8* right around 4200, then goes back down. I did a baseline datalogging run when I first got Datamaster a few weeks ago, and there's no knock at 4200 in those runs. What I have done since then is replace the water pump with a CSI electric wp, and I removed my AIR pump and plugged the manifolds at the same time.
I don't see how an EWP could cause knock, especially at a certain RPM only. I'm leaning more towards false knock, but I can't think of anything that would be causing that now but wouldn't have caused it back when I did the first runs. Any ideas of how to troubleshoot this are appreciated.

Okay, it's fixed. My own dumb fault, I had driven it with an intake leak for a while and forgot to reset the PCM. I flashed a new tune onto the PCM, took it for a couple of runs and no knock retard at all! Excellent! Always nice when it's something simple, even though it may make you feel dumb when you realize what the problem is.
