383 tune
383 tune
I just finished building my 383, it has 42lb injectors, forged internals trickflow heads, comp 230 / 236, .576 / .570 113 LSA cam, anyways, im using lt1 edit for tuning, and i've changed the injector size from the stock 24lb to 42lb injectors and changed the displacement for the 383. Anyways im still running rich, my blm's are 108 everywhere, and it seems like im running alot of advance, alot more then what i think i should be running. Any help would be appreciated. oh and im still using the maf

Re: 383 tune
No experience with this but some have said that leaving the displacement at the stock setting makes for a better tune.
Like I said, I have no first hand knowledge but a search might turn more up.

Re: 383 tune
I havent changed ve tables, or maf tables yet, i have it set for 42lb injectors, im still running the stock fuel pressure regulator. I havent adjusted inj.ofset vs. voltage
Re: 383 tune
You need to find out what pressure your injectors are rated at and what your actual rail pressure is so you can set the injector constant correctly.
That's where you should start.
