2nd Thoughts About My Tune

I sent my PCM to madZ28.com to get tuned and I left the carbon canister, but disabled everything else and I also left the rev limiter, idle speed, & shift points up to him. What is he going to set them at? I can still change them, but I wasn't sure what I should put them at and what he will put them at.

I thought he would put them in the right spots, but now I'm having second thoughts. If I redo my sheet where should I set my RPMs?

I was thinking...
Rev Limiter-6500
Shift points-5800
Idle-750

Mods are in my sig and my heads are like a LE2.5 as far as flow goes

I would definitely shift higher than 5800 with the cc306 as long as your valvetrain is setup right.

With a built bottom end, ported heads and 306 cam you'll wanna shift at least 6500 if not higher. It won't idle very well that low either 850-900.

Well its a little later right now, but I'll wait and see what Ion does. If I don't like it I can always have it retuned, and I was planning a dyno tune as soon as I have the money anyway.

You'll need more idle for sure. 750 on a cc306 won't cut it

I was just guessing. I'm letting him decide where to set everything now.

Does anyone have any idea where he will set shift points, rev limiter, and idle? Or do I have to wait and get it to see for sure?

Why don't you ask him?

Because it takes about 3-4 days to hear back from him and my PCM will be back by then
