If I was'nt sure a cam [XE 224/230] could pass Ill. emissions, could I use a 2nd computer with a smog tune just for the emissions test? Also would I be able to drive there on it,or would I have to install it in the parking lot for the test and then take it out when I'm done?

You don't need another PCM, just a cable so you can upload/download tunes from your PCM. Keep the smog tune on a floppy disk.

I do'nt have a laptop and I am not very good with computers. A second PCM is not that much money. Also I've heard of problems every once in a while when downloading.
So getting back to the smog tune, your saying its ok to drive to the emissions station on it?
