2 codes..HELP

ok..i psted b4 and my car has been in 2 shops and the problem keeps coming back..SES light comes on 2 codes come on..reverse silinoid and MAF circuit malfunction..unhooked the MAF and drove and the fuse thats been blowing AMP 20 blew..so im figuring its something w/ my reverse silinoid wiring..the one shop told me to unhook my 02 sensors and drive around..? would that work or is it nothing to do w/ my problem? any help would be greatly appreciated..

Basic hint.... include the year of your car, tranny and major mods when you post a tech question. A "signature" allows you to include that info with every post, so you don't have to type it over and over.

What were the EXACT codes?

opps your right..1997 trans am m6 53k miles..hooker LT's no cats..gears..maf,cai,deleted EGR and AIR..programed pcm..minor bolt-ons

codes: MAF circuit malfunction p0100

Could be any of the circuits that are on that fuse:
Oxygen sensors
MAF
reverse lockout solenoid
skip shift solenoid

The is "deja vu all over again".... except in the last version of this thread, it was Shoebox who asked you to tell us what year your car is and what the specific codes were. Guess it take a while to figure this part out

There were a few suggestions offered in response to your earlier thread.... what have you done to check out those suggestions?

ive unplugged the MAF and ran it..fuse blew..shop checked all harnesses and wires and seem to be all fine..they told me to run w/ the 02 sensors out..is that smart and could that be causing the short?
